On December 3rd, at Mansion House, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in association with the Government of Kenya hosted the UK-Kenya Trade and Investment Forum to mark the 50th anniversary of Kenya's independence.
This very well-received event was attended by over 400 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sector.
Developing Markets Associates (DMA), in conjunction with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, hosted the UK-Overseas Territories Trade & Investment Forum at Lancaster House, London, on November 28th 2013.
The event, the first of its kind, was attend by the governments of 12 of the British Overseas Territories as well as around 200 attendees who included high level representatives from donor bodies and the private sector, pension funds, family offices, institutional investors and members of business and investment councils from around the Territories.
On 6th November, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and Homestrings, hosted the inaugural Investing in West Africa Symposium at the Waldorf Hilton in London.
Developing Markets Associates (DMA) hosted the UK-Tanzania Agriculture Investment Roundtable, in London, on 21st October, 2013, in association with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
On October 24th 2013, at 51 Buckingham Gate, London, Developing Markets Associates and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in association with the Embassy of Croatia hosted the UK-Croatia Trade and Investment Forum.
This highly successful event was attended by around 200 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sectors.
Developing Markets Associates hosted the Government of Côte d'Ivoire at the UK-Côte d'Ivoire Trade & investment Forum 2013, which took place on October 30th at the Sheraton Hotel, Park Lane, London.
This remarkably successful event was attended by some 600 delegates consisting of amongst others, high ranking government ministers from both the UK and Côte d'Ivoire; key members of the business and donor communities – many of them stakeholders in Côte d'Ivoire; and numerous potential investors in Côte d'Ivoire.
Developing Markets Associates (DMA) hosted the Government of Cameroon for the UK-Cameroon Business Meeting, held at the London Waldorf Hilton on 3rd September 2013. HE Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo, Minister of External Affairs, led the government delegation, which also included HE Basile Atangana Kouna, Minister of Energy and Water Resources, HE Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi, Minister of Economy and Planning.
Following on from a successful financial round table held in November 2012, DMA were pleased to host a second high level meeting for HE President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia on Wednesday 19th June in London. The meeting was led by the President who gave a thorough overview of the country’s macroeconomics and covered a range of topics including building capacity in the financial sector, access to finance, affordable housing, adding value to primary processes in agriculture and extractives, building sustainable power and the investment climate in key sectors of Liberia’s economy.
On June 17th, at Merchant Taylors' Hall, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in association with the Government of the Republic of Senegal hosted the UK-Senegal Trade and Investment Forum.
This very well-received event was attended by over 400 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sector.
