Roundtable

Following on from a successful financial round table held in November 2012, DMA were pleased to host a second high level meeting for HE President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia on Wednesday 19th June in London. The meeting was led by the President who gave a thorough overview of the country’s macroeconomics and covered a range of topics including building capacity in the financial sector, access to finance, affordable housing, adding value to primary processes in agriculture and extractives, building sustainable power and the investment climate in key sectors of Liberia’s economy.

DMA were delighted to host a high-level financial round table meeting on Thursday 13th June in London. The meeting was led by Minister of Finance & Economic Planning HE Seth Emmanuel Tekper, and included a delegation of senior cabinet government ministers. HE Seth Emmanuel Tekper gave a comprehensive overview on Ghana’s revitalised development of the PPP framework, with particular relevance to energy, transportation and health, access to finance for infrastructure development, and access to finance for SMEs and MSMEs.

DMA were proud to host the Angolan Minister of Foreign Affairs for the First UK-Angolan Investment Roundtable on 22nd February 2012, organised with the Embassy of Angola in London and supported by UKTI and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Set in the magnificent surroundings of the Reform Club, the UK Minister for Africa, Henry Bellingham, delivered an informative and detailed address on UK/Angola relations and the countries long-standing relations and re-affirmed the government's position on seeing trade between the two countries as a priority.
