UK-Ghana Trade & Investment Forum 2014

On October 23rd, at the Grosvenor Square Hotel, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) in association with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the Government of the Republic of Ghana hosted the UK-Ghana Trade & Investment Forum 2014.

This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 400 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sector.

UK-Somaliland Trade & Investment Forum 2014

On October 14th, at One Whitehall Place, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in association with the Government of the Republic of Somaliland hosted the UK-Somaliland Trade & Investment Forum. 

This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 300 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sectors.

UK-Rwanda Trade & Investment Forum 2014

On October 22nd, at Plaisterers' Hall, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) in association with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Government of the Republic of Rwanda hosted the UK-Rwanda Trade & Investment Forum 2014.

This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 300 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sectors.

SMEs: Leading Nigeria into the Next Century

Developing Markets Associates (DMA) hosted the SMEs: Leading Nigeria into the Next Century event on 20th May, 2014, with the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and UK Trade & Invest (UKTI). This very successful event attracted well over 150 participants from a wide range of sectors with a keen interest in the growth of SMEs in Nigeria, confirming the growing interest and opportunities available in the country.

UK-Cameroon Trade & Investment Forum 2014

On May 7th, at Church House, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in association with the Government of the Republic of Cameroon hosted the UK-Cameroon Trade & Investment Forum.

This highly acclaimed event was attended by over 500 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sector.

UK-Tanzania Trade & Investment Summit

On behalf of the UK Foreign Office and UKTI, DMA hosted a delegation of senior Tanzanian Ministers, led by President Dr Jakaya Kikwete, to meet and network with some 200 businesspersons and investors in the Locarno Room at the Foreign Office.

Introduced by the UK Minister for Africa, Mark Simmonds, who highlighted the strong historic, political and economic ties between Tanzania and the UK, President Kikwete, in a very upbeat speech outlined the key areas in which Tanzania is looking for further investment - particularly from the UK which is its largest investment partner.

DMA – Homestrings Investing in Nigeria Symposium

Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and Homestrings hosted the ‘Investing in Nigeria’ symposium on March 7th at Drapers’ Hall in London. This widely successful event is the second event in DMA –Homestrings’ Diaspora Investment Series. Attended by over 350 members of the diaspora and institutional investors, the event featured opportunities to directly invest in innovative projects across Nigeria in sectors such as agriculture, technology, extractives, infrastructure, and more.

UK-Kenya Trade & Investment Forum

On December 3rd, at Mansion House, London, Developing Markets Associates (DMA) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in association with the Government of Kenya hosted the UK-Kenya Trade and Investment Forum to mark the 50th anniversary of Kenya's independence.

This very well-received event was attended by over 400 delegates including key stakeholders and high level representatives from both the public and private sector.

UK-Overseas Territories Trade & Investment Forum

Developing Markets Associates (DMA), in conjunction with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, hosted the UK-Overseas Territories Trade & Investment Forum at Lancaster House, London, on November 28th 2013.

The event, the first of its kind, was attend by the governments of 12 of the British Overseas Territories as well as around 200 attendees who included high level representatives from donor bodies and the private sector, pension funds, family offices, institutional investors and members of business and investment councils from around the Territories.
