DMA are delighted to be hosting a roundtable discussion on Mauritius’ Ocean Economy on Wednesday 30th September in London.
Dr Lallchand, Chairman of the newly created National Ocean Council, Senior Advisor to Minister of Public Infrastructure (MPI) & Head of Projects and a Core Member of Prime Minister’s National Advisory Council, will give a presentation focusing on the Government's objectives regarding the development of the country’s ocean economy as well as investment opportunities in this sector. The presentation will be followed by a Q & A session.
Joining Dr Lallchand will be Mr A.K. Utchanah, Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Ocean Economy, as well as Mr Heerun Ghurburrun, Manager of the Board of Investment.
Mauritius regards the Ocean Economy as a key factor in the country’s future economic growth and is now looking for investors and partners across a wide range of ocean-related activities, including marine services, port infrastructure, hydrocarbon and minerals exploration and renewable energies.
The roundtable will be held in the afternoon of the 30 September from 2.30 - 4.00pm and will be followed by a networking drinks.
