EVENT SYNOPSIS
On 10th February 2022, DMA in partnership with the British Embassy in Abidjan and the Ivorian Government hosted the UK-Côte d'Ivoire Virtual Agribusiness Investment Conference.
In line with the Ivorian Government's plans to industrialise the Agri-sector, the event was a unique entry point into one of Africa’s fastest-growing markets supported by the recent, historic trade agreement between the UK and Côte d'Ivoire. Showcasing the UK Ambassador to Côte d'Ivoire, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, alongside UK DIT's Agritech Director, the two hour event featured introductions to key government stakeholders, intelligence on business opportunities, and matchmaking with meeting requests taking place during the following days.
