OVERVIEW
The British Embassy in Abidjan in partnership with the Ivorian Government and DMA, held the exclusive, ‘UK-Côte d’Ivoire Agribusiness Investment Conference' on February 10th at 10am GMT.
In line with the Ivorian Government's plans to industrialise the Agri-sector, the virtual conference was a unique entry point into one of Africa’s fastest-growing markets supporting the recent, historic trade agreement between the two countries. The event took place place over two hours, a delegate list shared in advance, with one-to-one meeting requests taken following the close of the forum. Speakers included UK Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Trade and Industry, and the UK DIT Agritech Director.
