Investment Conference on Emerging Nepal

The UK-Nepal Investment Forum was an extraordinary event at Mansion House with a packed set of sessions, inspiring fireside chats and several bankable projects promoted to the UK audience. 

Convened by the Embassy of Nepal and supported by DMA, the Nepalese Ambassador to the UK, the Minister for Finance of Nepal, British International Investment, several Joint-Secretaries, the Deputy Central Bank Governor and Nepal’s premier companies, the sessions discussed the growing sectors of Renewable Energy, ICT, Development Finance, and Education. 

The announcement of a £ 1.5 billion risk appetite for Nepal from Tim Reid, UK Export Finance’s Chief Executive, and the signing of an MoU between the Ministry of Finance and Europe's leading Development Finance Institutions was among several highlights of this memorable high-level meeting.
