EVENT SYNOPSIS
On 16th October, 2018, 250 delegates convened at Lord's Cricket Ground for a forum built around HE Dr Arkebe Oqubay, Special Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, who was able to provide his experience, expertise and invaluable insight into Ethiopia's economy and several of its key sectors. The day was opened by Harriett Baldwin MP in her role as Minister of State for Africa, HE Dr Afework, Ambassador to the UK and Laurence Robertson MP, Chair of the UK APPG on Ethiopia.
On 24th April, DMA welcomed the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, Hon Peter O’Neill, to the Gibson Hall in the City of London for the second UK-Papua New Guinea Trade & Investment Forum.
On 27th March, at Mansion House in the City of London, a senior delegation of ministers from the Government of Morocco and Moroccan agencies met with high-level British representatives from both the public and private sector.
On 26th October 2017, HE Milutin Simović led a delegation to London for the UK-Montenegro Trade & Investment Forum. This invitation-only event profiled the Montenegrin economy, providing a unique opportunity for delegates to engage with ministers and senior government officials

On 6th September 2017, HE Hery Rajaonarimampianina, President of the Republic of Madagascar, led a delegation of cabinet ministers to London for the second UK-Madagascar Trade & Investment Forum.
On June 28th a senior government delegation attended the Forum, co-organised by the UK-Ghana Chamber of Commerce, to showcase the many investment opportunities that Ghana can offer international investors. This invitation-only event profiled the Ghanaian economy, providing a unique opportunity for delegates to engage with ministers and senior government officials.
