Suzanne Francis

Advisory Board Member

Suzanne has over 30 years commercial experience having been responsible for launching major recruitment advertising initiatives for both the Guardian and Observer National newspapers. Having successfully developed sales teams in both the London and regional offices she was charged with the responsibility of launching the first web based reader service, Guardian Enterprises, now the world wide publishing platform, which continues to grow and thrive. During this time, as a Director of Guardian Weekly, Suzanne was also seconded  to Johannesburg, South Africa, where she worked for the Mail and Guardian.

Beyond her extensive commercial background she served as a magistrate for 15 years, specialising in the Family Court. She also volunteered at Hertford  Regional College to work with special needs pupils on a one to one basis. Suzanne is a friend of the Royal Academy of Arts and contributes to both Action Aid and The Brooke Animal Charity on a regular basis. Having successfully run the London Marathon, raising funds for cancer research, she continues to run on a daily basis. Suzanne is delighted to join the Advisory Board of DMA Invest and looks forward to working in partnership with the rest of the Board.
