Rashmi Chatwani

Rashmi was born in Kampala, Uganda and, following Idil Amin’s expulsion of all Asians from Uganda in 1972, his family travelled and settled in the United Kingdom. He is currently the managing director of the Davis and Dann Group, working with over 40 countries with an extensive Africa practice.

Having read Economics at Birmingham University, before training with Price Waterhouse, Rashmi entered business in 1982 when he joined the Family’s business as a director in each of its Group Companies.

Apart from his business interests and among a number of honorary positions, Rashmi is Joint President of the Shree Jalaram Mandir and President of its Board of Trustees and he also serves as the Vice President of the UK’s 100,000 Lohana Community.
