Lauren is an experienced government affairs professional, with a strong background in both public and private sector communications. Her firm, Morpeth Consulting, provides support in matters relating to public policy, government and diplomatic affairs, and communications.
Before founding Morpeth Consulting, Lauren provided advice and consultancy for several governments and a number of blue chips. She has a wealth of experience in economic public policy in the East African region and has developed a particular specialism in tech start-ups and tourism across the African content. In particular, Lauren consulted the Kenyan Government on a nation-brand campaign, working with government agencies and Nairobi’s diplomatic community on travel advice, security concerns and providing strategic advice on communications activity.
Lauren was a Special Adviser to the UK Government in the coalition administration, in the Wales Office, where she was also a member of the departmental strategy board. She is also a regular commentator across UK national and regional media.
