Katie McCoshan

Katie is a recent graduate of the University of Cambridge and the London School of Economics, where she obtained first class degrees in Geography (BA) and Environment and Development (MSc). Whilst at Cambridge, she was also JCR Vice President of Fitzwilliam college. A passionate advocate of sustainability, her undergraduate dissertation dealt with issues of green attitudes and infrastructure in Sweden, whilst her Master’s thesis explored climate change narratives related to policy in Small Island States.  She has volunteered in New Delhi with ActionAid India’s partnership unit, during which she supported field research on food security and women’s empowerment. Katie has also been a research consultant for Oxfam GB and contributed to the recent ILO report on skills for green jobs. Her interests include singing (she was President of her university a cappella group) and bee keeping (she is very proud of her beginner’s certificate).
