Jabir is Chief Strategist for Skybound Capital Ltd, an Asset manager with a global footprint. He has 28 years of experience in the investment management industry of which a substantial number of those years were working for Family Offices. Having covered a wide range of asset classes, sectors and instruments, he has come to specialize in sourcing investment ideas, constructing portfolios, managing risk and developing business relationship opportunities. Prior to embarking on a career in investment management, he was in merchant banking where he covered operations and systems for a French bank.
Jabir has a passion for determining how macro decision-making impacts the world of finance and economics from a behavioural perspective. In particular, he enjoys trying to understand how these same decisions affect flows. He regularly produces commentary on a wide range of topics. He especially likes to focus on topics not in the public eye thus making him quite contrarian in his style and approach.
